Refund policy

Returns

Purchasing a safe should never be a compulsive decision. Safe buyers typically take special care in measuring the installation location of the safe in their home or business to ensure that it will fit. Requests for returns a safe is very rare and unusual. However, we have a limited safe return policy.

Returned safes and/or merchandise must be unopened and in new condition.

A Returned Goods Authorization and approval must be provided by CK’s Lockshop and Security Center prior to the return. Returned merchandise/safes must be in their original/undamaged packaging. All returned merchandise/safes are subject to CK’s inspection and approval. No special-order items, non-stock items, or modified items are returnable.

All shipping costs for all returns are the responsibility of the customer.
All returns after 2 days of receipt will not be approved.

Restocking Fee

A 15% restocking fee (of the total cost of the safe) will be applied to approved/undamaged returns.


Damaged Goods

All merchandise and safes must be inspected by the consumer upon taking delivery. If the damaged safe or merchandise is delivered by a shipping company other than CK’s Lockshop and Security Center, the customer must notate all damage on the shipping company’s bill of lading and take photos of the damage including a photo of the safe’s serial number. Customers should contact CK’s immediately after notating all the damage. If the merchandise or safe is damaged beyond repair,  Customers should refuse/decline the shipment. Failure to notate the damage on the bill of lading by the customer releases CK’s Lockshop and Security Center and the freight carrier of all liability.

 

Refunds 

All refunds will be in the form of a company check from CK’s Lockshop and Security Center to be sent to the customer within 30 days of the receipt of the returned merchandise or safe and/or within 30 days of a cancellation of sale.
